Working on recipes

I started working on a new recipe yesterday.  Some of the ingredients were not in my cupboard.  Darn, I had to substitute some other ingredients and came up with a totally new recipe.  I was a total palette teaser!  Watch for that recipe to be posted soon.

Fiber, fiber, fiber…

Fiber is not the total answer to lower cholesterol.

Eating the right combination of okra, eggplant, and other important ingredients that are incorporated into delicious recipes in my cookbook make eating your way to lower cholesterol easy, delicious and fun.

Share Your Low Cholesterol Recipes

We all have knowledge and by sharing our knowledge we can help one another as well as our loved ones.  My blog is about sharing information to help us all lower our cholesterol numbers.  One of the ways we do that is by the types of foods we eat.  The good news is that there are 1000′s of recipes out there that address cholesterol without turning our diets into bland, unexciting meals.  Life is meant to be enjoyed and eating needs to be part of that process – healthy eating can be delicious and exciting.  Here’s the place to share your healthy meal recipes, while cutting cholesterol and improving overall health.  Won’t you step up and share?

Hello world!

It’s easy to find diets that lower your cholesterol, but what about recipes that will help you cook food that lowers your cholesterol? Sprinkling a little of this or that isn’t the answer.

Using the correct ingredients is all well and good. Actually being able to eat unprocessed food that tastes good is the answer.

With the recipes in my cookbook you can subtly change what you cook and eat. There is no great expense or special food that has to be purchased, it can be done with some of the most inexpensive food on the market. Easy preparation methods are also a part of making it simple to do.

Information abounds on what to eat, but there are very few, if any, recipes that are tasty and incorporate these foods. This cookbook offers recipes in a format that is easily used. The recipes consist of good sense eating put into traditional recipes.

I’ve found that my arthritis has diminished to the point I no longer seek out medication for it. How do I know? I keep forgetting to take the med, so I know I must not need it.

You too can benefit from my cookbook and learn how to cook your way to health with regular old fashioned food that has not been processed.
